This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics. We collect only what we need to send you what you ask for.

What we collect

When you join the mailing list, we keep your email address. When you write through the contact form, we keep your name, email address and message. When you buy something, we keep your name, email address, the items you bought and, for a CD, your shipping address. Your card or PayPal details go straight to Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

To deliver your order and email your download link, to answer your messages, and to send news if you joined the mailing list. We also keep order records for accounting and tax, usually for 7 years. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

Who else sees it

Stripe and PayPal process payments. Postal carriers receive the shipping address for CDs. Our web host stores the site and order records. We may share information if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or leave the mailing list, by writing to info@rootscellar.net. We keep what the law requires us to keep, such as order records. We follow Canada's privacy law, PIPEDA. Residents of Quebec, the European Economic Area and California have the same rights described here and may write to us to use them.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Other websites

This site links to other websites such as Facebook, YouTube and Bay FM. They have their own privacy practices.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it.
